Events

As the designated AKC Parent Club—the GBGVCA is responsible for hosting a National Specialty each year for our breed. This is to encourage breeders to display their dogs to the fancy, as well as to come together as a community once a year to see what else is out there in the breed.

In addition to that responsibility, the GBGVCA also hosts several other events and membership opportunities through out the year to encourage all GBGV owners to become a member of the breed community!

Here you can find the winners of all our Past National SPECIALTIES!

Since entering the Miscellaneous class in 2014, the GBGVCA has hosted a National Specialty, and it is thanks to all the dogs, and owners, who came before that we have the success that we do today in the United States. Here you can find those dogs, and pursue the dogs that came before.
